You are a very intelligent person....you should team up with "professor" Beck and go on tv..Some of us decided DECADES ago that swinging a hammer and working in CRAPPY conditions was not our cup of tea......
Some of us were called FOOLS for working for 12,000 a year, when the PREVAILING WAGE for the job was 20,000, but you know what.......SOME of us used that time to develop MONSTER SKILLS.
Some of us were called FOOLS for jumping job to job to job......5 jobs in 4 years.....BUILDING skills that are SECOND to NONE.
Some of us were called FOOLS for moving to 6 different cities in 5 years........BUILDING skills that are IN DEMAND.......all over the COUNTRY.
Some of us were called FOOLS for not working in the union and having job security.......MY SECURITY is what I KNOW.
Some of us were called FOOLS for spending CRAPLOADS of money on "extra" education.......above and beyond......Now that money has been returned 100 fold.
Some of us STILL HAVE JOBS, while the UNIONS have SCREWED you out of YOURS. I've seen it all over my hometown.........
Some of us GET IT.......some don't.

Mr Fisher shares his ideas with a lot of other folks in this country. ...unfortunately those ideas aren't good for our country in general and the last hundred years have proven that to be true ...Collective Bargaining got a foothold in this country a long time ago and it has done fairly well with that in place, the last 20 years or so has seen the unions fall out of grace somewhat
and as a result even the hard noses seem to agree that we are experiencing a "downfall of the country" as was stated earlier in the thread ...Seems sort of odd that it coincides with the weakening of the unions in the last several years doesn't it.

Don't know what you do or what your education is, but sounds like you should count your blessings. Education has been significantly supplemented in this country by taxpayers, union and non-union workers. Even if you were so privileged as to attend all private schools at some point public education played a role in your cirriculum even if just educating your educators. Some of us decided DECADES ago that swinging a hammer and working in CRAPPY conditions was not our cup of tea......

There are some who would calculate the true cost of an education in this country and then charge that amount to those that benifit from it.
Consider where you may be if all federal funding for education was stopped both primary and secondary. Think of the advances that would be left uncovered.
Just saying there is a purpose for a strong governemt (=strong country) and government is not just solely for "national defense/military" as some think would cure the counrty. Don't jump to the conclusion that I'm saying the best government controls all and socialize every aspect of society!!!Just saying there are some area of society that are best managed from a government role not a corporate or business role.
Unions are not the death of America. But I think their influence could be more closely regulated and monitored.
So now Reagan was nailing the working man??? Lol be careful I think they do drug tests in the unions.Right on brother, these guys have no clue what construction workers lives are about...dealing with nasty weather and hard dangerous work...construction workers should be well paid and UNIONIZED....right wingers want to give the billionaires tax breaks and then screw the workin man..same old sh#@# from the Reagan days...
Yes, I remember it. 13,000 or so Air Traffic Controllers went on strike during a busy air travel time in direct violation of the no strike clause of their employment contract and federal law.
Their union demanded an immediate across the board 10k a year pay raise and a 32 instead of 40 hour work week.
Ultimately 11,000 plus ATC's were fired by Ronald Reagan. They were replaced from the pool of 22,000 plus non union applicants vying for those already good paying jobs.
Many union leaders and many ATC's were prosecuted for violating Supreme Court tested federal laws.
Sure you don't want to put your beagle hound on here instead of you?

Booyah, you have been served young fella. That my young troll is called being taken to class. Good stuff DH, been a long time since I've seen somebody step in it that bad, lmao.
Ha Ha Ha Gov. Scott Walker duped into talking his strategy to cripple unions with a crank caller...what an IDIOT!!! The caller was actually a liberal blogger. Revealed during the conversation, was the cozy relationship Walker has with the billionaire Koch brothers, who have poured millions of dollars into conservative political causes, including Walker's campaign last year. In the audio Walker compares his stand to that taken by President Ronald Reagan when he fired the nation's air-traffic controllers in 1981. The caller, pretending to be Walkers close friend David Koch, offers to fly Walker to California when he is successful "crushing" the unions to, "Really show you a good time." Walker replied, "All right that would be outstanding." This SOB is crooked as a barrel of snakes..and certainly not very bright to be "pranked" and to have it recorded by a liberal blogger..Ha Ha Ha ..Scott Walker is nothing more than a puppet of the billionaire Koch brothers...
Ukkid please please tell us your not just now understanding that people donate money to others?? It happens with any political party and just so you know the unions donate tons of money to the Democrats. You do know that dont you???
Ask someone else if you don't believe me. Ohhh another thing you prolly haven't learned......Obama is in with the Unions.
