Remember this. At a NASCAR event there are cameras EVERYWHERE. They also have trailers for spare batteries, and a helicopter that literally hovers over the race ALL day to simply relay signals from each camera to a booth. That booth is a VERY expensive trailer hauled to the race that has the communications gear required to send the live signal via satellite to a network where it is redistributed to the viewer. I am just guessing here, but i bet sponsors pay more for one race than the BASS sponsors fork out over a whole season. I think live coverage would be way to cost prohibitive. They would have to find ways of paying for teh equipment, qualified workers that have experience in live production. Its gonna take a bigger sponsor than Ranger Boats to pull it off. Then you have to remember that in a whole day fishing a tourney, there may only be a few hours of good film. Could you imagin watching the Pittsburg Classic Live? Hours of watching guys workin finesse lures with VERY few actual catches?

Then what happens when you have 4-5 anglers who happen to have a good fish on at one time? Which one do you show?
