So now we have 15 pirates in custody. they will be tried, sentanced and probably get the death penalty. So why the hell are we bringing them back to the states??? This is absolutly STUPID. Why should we pay for that? Why not let them escape, take them into the middle of the indian ocean, put all of them into a 16 ft life boat with no paddle, a gallon of water, and say adios!

We claim were going broke, cutting back on social programs for US citizens, and now its millions for a show trial?How long will we be3 feeding them, housing them, defdending them,while taking away some of those basic needs from our own people.Its still stupid!!!

I agree, but that wouldn't be politically correct or humane, and a protest somewhere would pop up as a result. Any threat must be neutralized immediately...any hesitation gives the threat rights.

I think the mistake was made when they became prisoners. They should realize dead men tell no tales, don't need trials, don't need water and it's sends a message to the other pirates. I call it fear. Let them know we are done with this....send a message.

In fact I'd take it one step farther. In Somalia (spelling) the crimes and attrocities being commited against innocent people are just unthinkable. Launch a secret ''Phoenix Project'' type of offensive with Black Op's and go in and waste EVERY SINGLE bad guy you can find. Kill'em old school with Piano wires while they sleep and tie one up to make him watch the whole thing. Maime that one but leave him at least where he can speak so he can tell all his buddies that Satan himself and his helpers are coming to take them all to Hell where they belong. AND DON'T TELL ANYBODY, play as dumb as you can if asked and sneak out just like you went in.

I'm pretty sure we did that after Katrina. Special ops went in and regained control of New Orleans from the thugs and gangs running rampant that were shooting at those trying to provide aid.

I've heard that some were put in an incinerator, and others assumed to be washed out to sea.......
