I found this clever idea on bass boat central.
Mount a spring driven fly reel under the pedistal seat. You can spool it with nylon cord. Then it can be used in conjunction with you plug Knocker/Lure retriever and it can also be used to tie your boat to the dock for a short while. Keeps those lines and ropes out of the way. A fly rell can be bought used for less than $10.
