I'm hoping to hit the cumberland river at burkesville, and fish marrow bone creek, the white bass should start hitting there, before the rain turns them into mud streans.

Me and a buddy were talking about going out somewhere wednesday since the weather is going to be decent and sunny. I get off at 330 and was wanting to shoot out some where and fish till dark from the bank. I live in Shepherdsville so I was thinking maybe the tailwaters of taylorsville or the falls of the ohio. Somewhere we might get a couple of bites of whatever bites. Anybody have any suggestions. I will post how we do for sure.

The ohio is wide open and salt river is high and muddy @ dixie highway in west point.. If yo go try for some sauger or stripes they should be in there some were if you can get to the water..
The Falls is really high right now. Be prepared for a good fight in the current if you go.
cumberland river was cold and swift, and higher than usual. Fished crocus creek instead, one hit all day!! Creek temp 47 river 42 degrees
