I have a completely trusted mechanic. He is the ONLY person I'll have work on engines for me. Over the years I've bought two boats that had blown engines and he did the rebuild for me.

He says DO NOT use Pennzoil. He says to only use the Merc oil regardless of who makes the engine.

There's nothing in it for him. He works out of a small garage and doesn't sell boats, oil or anything. All he does is repairs.

I trust him completely, and he says NO to Pennzoil.
