More rain & the Nolin River?

With the past rainfall the Nolin River rose some 15' as of Saturday. Thats from the satellite readings at the hwy. 84 bridge in White Mills and some 60? miles above wax. River has dropped some 8' ft. overnight and continues to drop. Found the white bass Wednesday before the big rain below Sportsman's Paradise. They were holding in the shallow mud bank eddy pools. If we get additional 2" maybe end of week before getting back down there, but if big rains don't come i'll be back down there looking for them Tuesday. I'd venture to say that Wax is a log jam right now as I watched enormous timbers float by Friday. Not a good idea to be on flooded rivers as they rise.

Re: More rain & the Nolin River?

Do you think they will drop Nolin once the rain stops and lake quits coming up??
What is the target level for this time of year??

White Bass might have washed down to the dam...
