Kentucky Fishing Reports?????

Wow--cabin fever really setting in--lol---it might not be the way the board is set up but most of the reports i read and post are in the discussion board and i have noticed that if you want a report all you have to do is ask and most people are glad to give you info for the lake or area you want. LOL Yep.. We usually get a, "What's up with the reports" thread way before March 1. At least they waited until then.

Another issue has been getting someone to update them. Jim, I think, is still the man with regard to getting them updated once they are written but that seems like a pain. I still think Peter should set up a reports board so guides and shops can post them themselves. Let them leave a little ad on each one for their trouble, then you also have a report history, but that's just me. Every year we get this thread and every year I make my suggestion.. I now feel complete Ha!

I go to Nolin almost every other weekend in the spring and summer so I will try to send in atleast a Bi-weekly report as often as I can. Planning on going to Mcneely Lake today. Ill let everyone know as much as I can if I end up going.

I wouldn't sweat it. It comes up every year about this time. If you hung out in the reports area without hanging out the board section, you probably didn't know. There will be at least two more threads on it before summer.. LOL

I am probably as guilty as anyone however most of my fishing is on Ky. Lake and Dave gives such good reports I feel I do not need to post or have much to offer that Dave hasn't covered. Now with all that said when I first joined this site we were all better at sharing fishing trip reports than we are now. We post more on the off topic board than we do on the fishing board. I read the Smalljaw forum and they do an excellent job sharing reports on the Hollow.

Let’s all redouble our efforts and make this the most informative fishing site for Kentucky fishing. Actually this probably is the best site for Kentucky fishing but we can all do out part to make it even better.

I always take a look at Dave's KY/Barkley report and apply it to other lakes in the state. Of course there are sometimes lake specific stuff, but it'll get you in the ball park. I suspect a lot of others do the same, thanks for the weekly report!

No problem...if the "Old Timer" remark is supposed to get under my skin you should know it doesn't. I earned my gray hair by serving 26 years in the military to make sure you have the freedoms you have just so you can come on here and be disrespectful.

If you fish Nolin a lot...I leave a report everytime I go up there, usually once a week when the conditions are nice...look for my reports, that might have some info to help ya. I will also be looking for yours.
