Any one of those fish would've made my year!
Makes me want to plan a trip to Cali. I find it hard to believe that he caught all five of those fish. I could be wrong but its just hard to wrap my head around catching over 60lbs of bass in one day. Either way, that is an amazing video.
If I had a day like that I might hang it up. Why fish anymore?
Man....that's just not right!

I went to lake dixon in cal. In 2005. I think the year before the uncertified 25 lb bass was caught. I had ahold of one that was at least 12-15 pds but lost it after it came to the top of the water. Then was over top of a nest that had the male protecting the nest with a female of at least 15 pds cruising back and forth so i caught the male off the nest and held it hoping that the female would get on the nest. She would then stop at the nest..stare at my white jig and then swim on. I did not want to keep the male out of water too long so i put him back. It is amazing out there. Even though we did not catch any over 5 lbs. We caught at least 150 male bass from 2-3 pds that week. It was a ball !!!!!
I had a bag about 21 lbs on Kentucky about 4 years ago and couldn't stop smiling. TO think that two of those would have smashed my 5!!!![]()
He must have one heck of a livewell on that boat!!! It looks like a smaller body of water though. The only reason I say that is because there is no motor on his boat. I read a lot about the smaller electric motor lakes out there having monster fish in them.
Most lakes out there are water shed lakes--they have port-a-pots all around the lake for you to park your boat and go to. Also i fished 2 lake out there--one lake had a 10 hp limit and one was trolling motor only. If you are caught going in the lake there is a huge fine ! Dixon lake is the one that the 25 lb'er came from and is only about 85 acres but averages 85 feet deep. The bank starts as shale rock for about 10 feet out then starts i guess what you would call grass and then drops off sharply into the depths.
All I can say is wow!
