It looks the first really prime weekend won't be until the 19th with rain this weekend and it being chilly on the 12th. That said you can still catch them now I have been catching a few for couple weeks already.

mid lake mainlake temps at noon were 48.3 with heavily stained water. backs of two creeks had 49.9-50.8 temps, water color was good with visibility at about 2-3 feet. managed 2 really big ky's on a X-RAP , silver with black back fishing parallel on a sunlit wall. had several more half hearted thumps but no hook-ups. there is floating debris everywhere some of it is pretty nasty looking stuff. more heavy rain for tommorrow so i dont know how long these conditions will stay the same. hope this helps anyone who is wondering what cumberland looks like.

Main lake temps on the lower end was 42 on Wednesday. We found 44 in the creeks with muddy water. No hits in the mud, the stained, or the slightly stained water. Lake came up over 10 feet from Monday to Wednesday and is still rising. Was catching them good on the lower end in slightly stained to clear water before the quick rise and guess what more rain for the weekend. Thanks for your report Jeff and I'll report again probably next week.
Talk to you Later,
Tim
