Wonder if it's gonna get to summer pool like all the other lakes. 700' is highest I've seen it since repair work began and took quite some time to draw it back down. Lot's of high dollar equipment sitting on the dam. Rain this weekend and rain middle of next week. Not even spring yet.
Last year it came up 23 feet and they detected movement. Stopped work and we removed all equipment from CA1. Hope rain holds off till morning I couldnt find the bottom half of my rainsuit.
Skinny, you got me thinking. Checked the information available to me for Y2010 and found the lake reached 703.54 feet on May 6th. Next highest level was 701.63 which occurred during the period of February 10th.
As a point of reference, the lake was just under 700 feet this morning and still rising!!!![]()
Saw where the lake is up to 704 feet this morning. Well, I believe that breaks last years record...![]()
I'm fishing there for the first time this Saturday...that should be fun.
Watch all the lumber that will be out on the lake. Last year I fished just after the big rains (around May 12th) and it was nasty. I actually heard a boat slam into a big log in the middle of night.
