Went to bacon creek yesterday bank fished. Bank fishing kinda limited because of high water and slick banks caught 3 white bass in a span of about an hour. They movin on up.

I'm sure they are up there good now, with all this rain and warm water coming in....now...if I could just get mother nature to cooperate so I could get up there! Thx for the update!

No problem further up they go harder the access from bank above broad ford about 5 miles. Time to get the canoe out. easy run from Broad Ford [next highway access] to Bacon Creek be a fast run though. After that it's Wheelers mill to Broad Ford about 10 river miles. Long haul in a canoe when your fishin. Debris still floating down stream. May try putting boat in at Bacon Creek motoring up to Broad Ford. Have done it many a time at winter pool some serious shoals to navigate through at low water. Depends on what this rain does today.
