Newton has been a fun alternative to Turtle Creek but I still wonder how the bass fishing is out there. From talking with staff at the lake, they advised they've been stocking it with bass each year. Some of those fish have to be doing okay, despite the lack of vegetation. Just wish I had more time to run over and check it out!

I fished a tourney there two years ago. Over 20 boats. No fish brought in and only one bass caught.
