I called the marina yesterday, they said the water was about 2 to 2 1/2 up should be about 1 lower by weekend no good reports of fish being caught. Water was was stain at marine must likely muddy in river 44 Temp. They were catching crappie before the rain. Ramp is open Good luck.

Just got back from Guist. I mainly stayed around the docks since it was shielded from the wind. Water was stained to muddy around the marina all the way into the creeks. Water temp was between 44.5 and 45.5. Finally bit the bullet and made the cold ride to the dam. Man I wish I went there first. Water had great color and found water as warm as 46.8 towards the back. Threw a little bit of everything. My partner had one bite but didn't connect. Lake is very fishable, good luck if you go. I think the cold front shut down any kind of bite.

    Re: Guist Creek

Sorry for the late report. Fished on Sunday, no bites.... threw a jig most of the day. Water temp early morning was 46.6 to 47.0 by the time we left around 3 it was up to 51. Creeks looked good main lake was stained (2% chocolate milk). I know this information is useless since we have had rain since. But if it warms up like they say I would think the water temp will be in the mid 50's or higher by the weekend.
