Taking the kids crappie fishing for spring break, but have never been on the lake before. Any help on sections on the lake or other helpful hints would be greatly appreciated.

Taking the kids crappie fishing for spring break, but have never been on the lake before. Any help on sections on the lake or other helpful hints would be greatly appreciated.
i dont know about the crappie but ther bass fishing is very tough there and the lake is extreamly high and still raising. way over summer pool.
Depending on when your spring break is, if you put in at wax, go down the lake, toward the dam, look for lay downs, and check around floating docks, alot have brushpiles around them. If you put in at moutidier, go up the lake, doing the same. You will also see some big creeks, most have some timber in them, try one side going in, the other going out, fish about 12' - 20' deep depending on temp. And sun or cloudy conditions. They kids should love it, as you move around alot, and they see a lot of the lake.... Tr
