Well I had to give it a try. Was only on the water for about 2 hours. I did not get there until around noon and the wind had really kicked up. 3+ swells on the main lake. The lake it really up and the only place that was good to put in at was Twin Knob. Water temp was 42 to 46. The 46 was only in a couple coves. By the dam the water was clearer, 2'-3' but way too cold, 42. As you move down the lake the water warmed up but clarity went way down, less then 6". Also some debri in the water but not real bad.
I've always wanted to fish that lake being that it is known for there trophy muskie but know nothing about it other than the smallmouth are pretty good around the dam end of the lake. Any info. would be nice.
