Water is stained, hovering around 45 degrees. A little muddy up the river. Wind was awful. Caught one right off the bat with Square A on some rip rap. Wind made it hard to stay on any spots. It was whitecaps and 3 foot rollers on main lake. Packed it in at 2:00. Just needed to get it out of my system I guess. Couple more weeks and water temps should be right.

Yeah i went and did the same thing. Put in around noon and fished till 3. wind had me so aggravated i quit and went in with out a scale ever coming in the boat. I had water temp even down to 43 in back of creeks.
It will not be long before it's right and the bigger fish are moving up, I've fished that lake for about 28 years and it always seems like the bigger fish move up at around 48 to 52 degrees. Just wish it had the milfoil that it had years ago!!!!!![]()
