Rough report

Caught a few crappie with minnows , now the bass report . At the ramp i talk to 5 boaters and 4 didnt get a bite . The fifth caught a short fish . Water 51 -53 degrees and muddy but not real bad toward the dam .

I fished Rough today too. It was my first time out this year. Even though the fishin was tough and the water was muddy, it was a beautiful day to be on the water. I caught one largemouth that weighed 4 lbs. 11 oz. It was the only bite we had all day. Not bad for the first fish of the year!

It wasn't me. I put in at Axtel. I did fish near Laurel Branch but I was not at the ramp.

I fished Rough today with two others in the boat. We put in at Laurel Branch and ended up fishing near Axtel. We didn't get a bite until around 4pm. Then we ended up catching three largemouths and two hybrids. The biggest largemouth was 14.25" and the biggest hybrid was around 16". Overall it was a pretty good day.
