    Patoka Spawning Areas

I just fished Patoka for the first time yesterday in the wind storm. I plan on fishing their quit often since i am new to the area. What is some of the areas on the lake during the spawn that really produce year in and year out? I didnt catch anything yesterday but i was really impressed with the lay out of this place and plan on hitting it hard and even do some tournaments. Thanks for everyone's input and happy fishing!

The lake used to be great about 22 yrs. ago when it was full of hugh grass matts and back in the river looked liked a golf course man them were the days. And some really nice fish always being caught 5-8 pound fish on a pretty reg. basis but it is just not like that any more. People wanted to get rid of the grass and that made a big differance in that lake.

Yeah that wind was fun - nothing like getting sprayed in the face with 46 degree water moving to a spot...
Spawn areas are everywhere - check back of main lake coves - all the creeks have them - and literally hundreds of spawning areas up in the river.
