Dude are you serious or is this a joke? You want him to loose his job because UK lost to Duke a hundred years ago, I'm laughing right now, lmao............

You might try laying a little blame on his coach, who's last words to Pelphrey and Feldhaus were "Don't foul!"

Not HIS coach, not the "Man that hung the moon and stars", not that guy, that Benedict Pitino guy, surely not him. He DOES NO WRONG. Best coaching job in america this year, best this best that, best coach to hit on the waitress at the local italian restaurant, best coach who cheated on his wife, best blah blah blah. I am sure, THAT GUY, did not say "hey you Redhead, now after you let him catch the ball drop off of him a good 6-8 feet to make sure you give him a wide open look at the basket. Make sure you don't stand there with your hands straight up and down. Play a little bullfighter defense on him, move back and wave your red cape at him and say OLAY", maybe that will make him miss.

All I know is that is what Pitino has always said and the one thing he would have done differently.

That is the one play that he has always said he would do differently. He has also always said the biggest mistake he EVER made was leaving UK for Boston. If everything had turned out differently, all joking aside, if Pitino had not left UK he would own just about every major college coaching record that stands, except for Wooden's number of titles. Not sure he could have coached that team in 1998 to the title because Tubby did an outstanding job with that team, but Pitino would have kept getting the absolute best talent year after year and the snowball would have kept on avalanching like it was in 96, 97 and 98. I think Pitino is one hell of a coach but just don't like the way he left UK. For all that he did for UK and ALL THAT UK AND THE FANS DID FOR HIM, he should have left with a bit more class and integrity. He thought bringing in Tubby, a former hand picked assistant, that did an outstanding job at Georgia was going to make the Big Blue fans forget about him. For one year they did. I am not racist, hell my wife and I went 8,000 miles around the world and adopted our little boy from Katmandu Nepal. But, the older Big Blue fans, with all the money, like MY FATHER who grew up with Rupp and his racist legacy (true or not), still see the color in a lot of stuff. Tubby Smith was not the right color for UK Basketball and even though he did an OUTSTANDING job at UK and I would welcome him back TODAY as head coach, the majority did not think so. Just my opinion, but I think Pitino leaving UK in the hands of an african american coach caused more problems for the Big Blue nation than just wins and losses. Ten Loss Tubby and other names were uncalled for. I have posted here before about the number of SEC titles that Tubby had and whether they were Pitino Players or not, Tubby pulled the puppet strings for UK to win the 1998 crown. I could have coached the 1996 team to the title as could a million other coaches, but not many could the 98 team. Now that I have rambled on, bottom line Pitino is a heck of a coach, but Class, Integrity and Honesty say a lot about the man and being a parent of a 7 yr old son that is a heck of an athlete (not mine or my wife's genes), I would want him playing for a man like Tubby Smith everyday and twice on sundays versus Pitino, Calipari and others with their dotted past. Just my opinion
