28 to 29 feet above TARGET pool, pure mud in most places, creeks aren't horrible in some areas. Lake is FULL and I mean FULL of debris.

This is based on a recent report from peeps down there.

mark is right on the money on the lake conditions. red buck tourney out of pumpkin creek saturday took 17 lbs 12 oz to win and several other bags over 10 lbs weighed in. on sunday we had 7 short LM and 2 about 19 inches, we caught em all on live bait, lol. good luck and BE CAREFUL, some pretty nasty stuff floatin around.

Yes from what I've heard the stripers have shut down because of the water being pulled so hard, dont know about bass.

Was there Sunday myself. Launched at conley bottom and was very muddy. A lot of debris all over the lake. Wish I could give u something to go on I put up a big goose egg lol. Sounds to me like I would put in down the lake and fish around beaver and pumpkin if it took 17 somethin to win sat. Lake might look a lil better down that way.

hey hotshot, considering we were crappie fishing and had been at some spots for 10-15 minutes before a largemouth would hit our live minnow i would think whatever you throw it would need to be slow and methodical, pick the cover apart and give the fish time to see the bait inthe strike zone another words. i hadnt heard what the top bags of fish were caught on saturday. i caught fish last week on a rapalax-rap, but my buddy that fished the tournament didnt catch a fish on a x-rap so go figure ?

Fished Clifty creek for a few hours in the kayak Sunday and with plenty of water, was able to go all the way to creek head. Lake level was 711 ft. and temperature was 47-48F. Water was brown with some clarity but not muddy. Another boat said the water was like that until the creek mouth where it got muddy. Got bit a few times slowly working a blue/green jig very close to cover but didn't land any.
