I'm headed down this weekend 18 - 20, and was wondering about conditions.
I will prob fish both lakes, but may eliminate Barkley if it is too dirty.
What do you guys think??

Geo

There is a great report on that very topic,I read it on Kentucky Lake.com. Go to the fishing report, and was Fish Tails report dated 3/15-11. Hope this helps you
Geo - Big Bear was Murkey but the water cleared more towards main channel. And I drive down to the ramp every morning and it keeps getting higher and higher. It's not a mudhole or even close but it has a bunch of color in the bays.
I'll be down there this weekend as well. Hopefully we'll be able to find a couple foolish crappie if they haven't drowned.
Looks like the water may stop rising at about 4ft over summer pool by Friday. Don't know how fast they are going to let it out when they do though. They'll have about 9ft of water to get rid of and if they do it fast it will affect the fish for sure.
me and my son are going mon the 21st, we are going out of ky dam, with gas prices want go far lol.
I usually say come hell or high water...........I'm fishing...........
