Thank You. I had just about given up hope on ever catchin anything of decent size out of that lake. You have restored my faith in it.

Lol, I hear stories of people catching 6 & 7 lbers out of there. I've caught em in the 3 - 4 range but not often. A lot of small ones though, and I mean small, lol. The fish in the video would crash my top ten list from there for sure and I fish there quite a bit because it's close by.

I can walk to McNealy from my house. I have never managed more than 2 small bass from the place as i am always standing on teh bank and have no idea what structure this place holds.

I hoped you moved to a different bank before turning the camera on, you will have to burn stumps and sift ashes to find a good fish there now if you showed the spot!!!

You can catch 10 bass in one spot one day and none in the same spot the next. Its all about having your lure in the right place at the right time in a lake like McNeely. Its still there so feel free to catch it again. My friend Hack caught 5 nice bass, 6 blugill and 1 10 inch crappie their the same day. They are biting there for sure now.

    Nice fish!

I caught and released one over 5 pounds there 6 years ago. It was my first time fishing there and it was within the first ten minutes. I remember it was a cold morning in February, it was raining and the water was like chocolate milk. I pitch a black Yamamoto skirted grub under a floating soccer ball and a 2 liter bottle. I fished that lake several times that year and never caught another fish. I havn't been back since. There is probably big fish in there but may be really hard to catch.

I was using a 30 year old scale. I thought it looked and felt heavier too but thats what the scale said. pound and a half. it was probly 2 pounds. Nice fish though for that lake. I was surprised. Put up a good fight too. All the fish we caught that day were healthy lookin fish. They look like they have been eating good.
