I find that it is not about how many inches a day they are dropping the lake that mess with fish on these COE lakes. Its the current. Usually current turns on bass, but these fish are not used to current, so it messes em up a little when the current gets cranked up by the dam. At Barren, any time it goes over 3000cfs, the fish suspend off the points. When the water is clear, a suspending jerkbait ina natural shad color is great, but with teh heavy stained to muddy water, im not sure what to try. If the water is warm and they get agressive, maybe a chatterbait, you just gotta figure out the depth.
