I never heard anything about it, that is why I put the question out there. It seems to me that all the "this was the toughest loss in coaching and I am devastated chatter" was just that chatter if he was able to put it behind him and onto CBS so quickly. Whether he did accompany the team or not, he sure seemed to get over it pretty quick.
