Herrington or Cedar Creek

I’m thinking about going out tomorrow and was wondering which you think would be better to hit. I know they are up but I’ve got a boat that I’ve only gotten out once. I was thinking about taking out my dad to float around with some minnows. Any help would be appreciated.

I personally like Cedar Creek Lake. I have not fished Herrington but a couple of times. Good luck at whichever place you choose to fish.
