This is for all the guys that go to guntersville. Had a pretty rough day. I've got two days left down here. I need some info on best places to fish and what to throw at them. I'm staying in guntersville but am willing to drive. I've been told by a few people that mudd creek is where it is at. That's a healthy drive. Thanks in advance.

i went there too early last year...spent 3 days for 1 keeper, and barely a keeper.
I have only fished there twice. The first time was family vaction in July which was hot, the fishing not just the weather and then in April during an Elite Series tournament. Most of the fish came out of main lake in April. KVD was fishing an area not far from me and pro I was with. We caught our fish on submerged vegetation. I pre-fished with Bill Lowen one of the practice days and he was catching them on a swim jig back in creeks. That man knows how to use a swim jig that's for sure. He hooked a giant carp for what he thought would be fun. Before it was over he wished he had not caught it. The durn thing pulled his rod out of his hands but he was able to get it back, bring the carp to the side of the boat and release it.
