Does anyone know if this lake receives a lot of fishing pressure? right now when they are stocking fish?

I've never fished there, but I'm sure it does. Most of the metro ponds in Louisville usually get hammered. When they stocked Fisherman's Park off Old Heady Rd there was hardly an empty spot on any bank.

Went last night with my 9 year old. We had to walk around the pond to find a spot. Reminds me of the river when the sauger are on. Probably a lot worse on the weekend. We managed three trout in an hour. I love the stocking program. It has given my 9 yr old a chance to add another species to the list of fish he has caught. As we were leaving , he was asking when we could go back.

it receives a good deal of pressure in general. i bass fish mostly there and i have found to my surprise that almost no one seriously bass fishes there which means that the bass population seems to get pressured alot less than the rest of the species there. I do really good there on bass especially this time of year. nothing huge,, but alot of fun.

Usually with a rod and reel and a lure/bait tied on.

I have a friend that has been hammering the trout at Waverly Park out in the south west end of town.
