Re: Why Tim T's catch rate has gone down

I say you take the scientific approach to the question of "why Tim T's catch rate has gone down". Since it looks like he is fishing a honey hole, unless he consumes about a 100 cases of beer by himself, his problem is speed. The speed of his boat is greatly reduced due to the extra 12 oz cans of ice cold beverage, with lid still firmaly attached. With all that weight he can not have a good hole shot and his top end speed is greatly reduced. Throw in the fact that his blood alcohol content was twice the legal limit as he was driving to the ramp and almost 3 times the legal limit while idleing out past the bouys. Then, by the time his weighted down slow boat reaches its first spot, the locals have caught all the fish so he decides to save some gas and lighten the load in his boat but he can't just waste the beverage so he consumes ALL of it. By this time his hook could be attached to a barge heading the opposite direction and he would not know he had a bite until the rod was pulled from his hands. Basically Tim T is so trashed that he decided to root for Kentucky, Burn down the Yum Center and GO FISHING at Patoka in Indiana. Can somebody stop him for I think he has gone insane and, except for the rooting for Kentucky part, has LOST HIS MIND. Somebody help him, throw him a PFD, call the water rescue, call anybody

Been clean and sober for two months this Sunday. If you really want to be humbled, stand in front of a group of complete strangers and say "my name is Tim and I am an alcoholic." Fun times. 18-24 beers a day, seven days a week starts to wear on ya a little bit after ten years.

Btw tyme, there is one thing wrong with your photo. When Iwas drinking I would never sink my cans in the lake. I don't like litter....and you can recycle them and buy more beer.

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! My father drank like a fish for over 40 years and has been sober now for almost 10. Hardest thing he ever did. Congrats

Tim, I was just funnin' with ya. I was aware you'd quit drinking alcohol and I know you'd never litter the lake bottom with trash. All in fun and congrats on a new start in your life.

My sincere apologies if I offended you.

Ok....I take back what I wrote earlier. I didn't know you were hammering 18-24 per day. That's a good amount. Heck Tim....compared to you I'm just an amateur. Congrats to ya! And you're right....18-24 per day will wear on a guy. I have a friend who came over to the house last weekend and told me he had cut down his drinking to x-amount of beers in one week that he used to drink in one day. However, he probably needs to cut it down to zero like you have done cause Wednesday night he had to call EMS to take him to the hospital due to his heart, high blood pressure, etc...

    Good job Tim!
