Anyone been to Brookville or Batesville? If so water temp, an how is the lake!

Bishoff's was a great lake years ago for crappie. But for bass I have seen some 4 and 5 pounders come out of there in the past 3 years. I grew up on that lake and know it well. But on the other hand there are alot of tournaments there and the fishing pressure is heavy. with a large population of 12in gizzard shad available to feed on the bass are getting bigger. Untill the water level is stabill they really won't turn on till mid April. Yes I remember when there were only two houses on the entire lake. I don't like the build up either. Instead I wish they would make the ramp nicer and make the parking lot bigger.

Yea I heard there was a tournament Saturday and the winning numbers werent really high, expected for how cold it was and how windy it was that day!

How high is the water at Bischofs I have a tourney there sunday. If it's too high we may move it to Brookville.

I was there on Sunday fun fishing.. 20 some boats on the water with very little success this is the third time in a row I have had no luck on this lake... what is going on with Bischoff? has anyone else noticed that bischoff has gotten difficult or should I sell my boat because I ****

We had our club tourney there sunday. Water was 55 with 6' visibility the wind was terrible 30 to 40 mph out of all of the boats only two keepers one 14'' and a nice 5.5lb. My self I only caught one shorty. Alot of people blanked out. Bischoff is usually a good lake. But the graph was reading alot of susspended fish at 8 to 10' but couldn't get them to bite. It will probly get better in a few weeks. once it warms up some more.

Brookville our club tournament winning wieght was 13.8. It was really windy there sunday as you said, alot of fish were actually caught amongst are club. Every person atleast had 1 alot of people more then 3, and alot of them real nice fish.

I fished batesville twice so far. I have personally not been fishing deep and just fishing the bank, and ive been able to pull a few out of bischoff/batesville this year!

Well All of my tourneys are cancelled till the water goes down. The river is blown out and most of the lakes are way up. Might not have one till the end of the month the way things are looking.
