Upper Nolin today

What a hey day upriver today. Despite the freezing rain that covered the boat in ice the fishin was on. Launched at Sportsmans Paridise Ran up river about a mile above Broad Ford hwy bridge. Water shallow above Broad Ford. caught 7 good white bass and a 21" walleye. Walleye was below Broad Ford riffles. The large mouths & Kys. were everywhere. Caught 2 that broke 20" and probably 5 more keepers. Cub Run was full of lg. mouths. Did catch my share of punk Ky. bass. Big bass were in 2 to 3 feet of water. Water temps. were 53 to 56 degrees. Missed out on some good bass as they weren't very aggressive. Felt like I was pulling in a log at times. Just dead weight. Caught me off guard as I miss some good ones. Lot of fun today wasn't looking for the green bass, but there were plenty of em.
