Headed to Kentucky lake

Saturday, weather too badto get out. Went out this morning. It was cold and super windy, making the water rough and bringing out a small craft advisory. Fishing was tough. Our group of two boats and five guys caught two shorties and one keeper smallie and one keeper largemouth. No pattern as of yet. Fish were scattered and caught on a wide variety of slow rolled crankbaits. Hopefully tomorrow is better...

Monday not much more to report. Same wind, but today super sunny. Two fish all day. One was a nice 5-3 Smallie my dad got on a shad rap. The other was a fat little 14-1/2 incher we had to throw back. My brother caught that on a Bass Pro crank. Saw a lot of guys cleaning keeper bass caught on minnows while crappie fishing. I am home tonight to go to a job interview in TX tomorrow, but should be back at the lake Wednesday night. Hopefully the bite picks up some before i return.

i hope you get the job in TX,having a local on hand down on those trophy bass lakes would be awesome! .......ummm i meant good luck i hope the job interview goes well for all the right reasons, lol
