I actually went to UK and cheered for them when they were not playing UofL, but then they hired the slimiest, dirtiest coach on the history of the NCAA and all that changed. Don't bother with your quick Rick comments either, he hasn't vacated any games.

I don't even have to say anything about Rick, he's been a dud since he left UK....and if i remember correctly UNC beat UK earlier in the season also....UK is a completely different team right now as are most teams...some teams for the better, some for the worse....UK plays a team full of freshman and that was their third meaningful game....that being said we'll just let the game play itself out next saturday....but I'm gonna go ahead and call it that that game will decide the national champion

I would agree with that any other year, but not this time. No one thought Butler or VCU could go this far, who is to say they can't surprise us even more.

Any 1 of the 4 headed to Houston can win it....seriously....

I don't want to play UCONN, Butler, or VCU. All talented, gritty, find-a-way-to-win teams right now.

BUT, so's Kentucky right now. So TIP THE BALL!

One thing for sure the blowhard cardfans can't claim being to a Final Four since UK anymore....................

They better worry about Pitino retiring and leaving them with Steve Massielo as Head Coach

How bad could Steve "Human Victory Cigar" Massielo be? Surely, the OTHER university name can get them the quality players to make the NCAA tourney every year and surely Massielo can coach them to a first round loss, which is quickly becoming the norm

I wouldn't be overlooking any team left. UK like all teams left have a clunker game within - it all depends on if and when it reveals itself. They've been good from 3 lately. So has VCU.

If UK manages to slip by UConn I'd much rather see them face Butler in the championship than VCU.....I think UK matches up really really well with Butler and VCU's ability to get hot from 3 and Skeen inside could pose problems for the Cats.....But on the other hand I'm not so sure I want to face Butler with Lexington home grown Shelvin Mack...Talk about the ultimate drive to play your home school in the championship and the rest of the Bulldogs could feed off of that...Should make for an interesting final 4 no matter how it works itself out

I love all the mud slinging on Calipari, who was never directly involved in any infraction at UMass or Memphis, yet Pitino was caught redhanded in 8 major recruiting infractions while Asst Coach at the University of Hawaii.

Guilt by association is used by some when they have nothing else to hang their head on when busting on the Big Blue.

Hypocrite much Elwood? I think he was talking about you!

Btw it is okay to be hypocritical about coach Cal! UK fans have been doing it for a couple of years now. The UK message boards where filled with talk of how he was a cheater and they would rather have Billy Clyde. That all changed once the drunk was run out of town and they needed immediate results. The bar was set pretty high by the No. 1 UK Douchebag Apologist, your very own Matt (Matty Bangs) Jones.

Of course anytime you mention Cal and his vacated Final Four appearances some go with the "He wasn't found guilty of anything" of course these people probably believe that OJ never killed anybody either!

What did OJ do? I for one believe if the "Glove did not fit, you must Acquit"

"If the equiptment manager says it is ok for his boss, the coach, to have relations with his wife inside the restaurant, then it is ok to extort said coach after said coach paid for abortion"

"If new coach at University in Lexington Kentucky, that has a checkered past of violations, is hired at said University in Lexington Kentucky then it is ok to ASSUME said coach will break the rules in Lexington"

I am fully expecting UK to have to forfeit this any future championship due to violations, but until then, I am going to get each and every dig in that I can until then. Sort of like, PAYING IT FORWARD, It keeps with my new theme in life, "Expect the worse in every situation, then, when the worse comes you got exactly what you expected. If the worse never comes, then you can be happy it did not" I expect UK to lose every game then when they win, they have exceeded my expectations but if they lose they did exactly what I thought they would do in the first place.

    GO BIG BLUE
