I dont fish Nolin much, but had small club tourney there today. Water was anywhere from 52-55 degrees depending on where you were and if the wind had been blowing in on it. Slightly stained to clear. Creeks were clearer than main lake. Unloaded with an ambient air temp of 32.
Caught close to 25 fish today but only had 3 over 15" with two 14 1/2" slots. Keepers were all caught on shakey head worms in watermelon/red. Numerous fish were caught on wiggle warts in red craw color. Our fish were found near bays/cuts on bluff type walls with larger rocks In the 2-6' Range. Did manage a win with our club but very tough for us to find keepers.
Thanks.
Thanks for the update!

Just got back from 9 days there. Lake dropped over eight feet while we were there. Bass fished mostly and caught lots of bass with some good size mixed in on 1/4 texas rigs fished deeper/slower and deeper running cranks on the sides of points. Crappie fished a few days and the bite got softer and fewer each day. I think they were wanting to move up but the lake wouldn't let them. Fish came mostly in 25-12 ft of water, but had come closer to the banks the day before we started. Fished jigs tipped with minnows over brush piles and slow trolled rocky banks with standing timber.
Oh, did start to get some carolina rig fish by wed and thursday before the cold front went through.
