Well I made my way back to Ky Lake today. I'm staying at moors so I will be focusing on that part of the lake. Crossed the lake to smith bay and ran past the bouys. Threw jigs spinnerbaits and shadraps with no luck. Water temp was 53 and heavy stained. Moved on to Duncan bay and suprisingly the water was 57 degrees and much clearer. Missed a fish on a jig in a laydown. Threw spinnerbait on a flat where Shad were being fed on and missed two more. Fired up the motor and ran to the back and tossed a red eye Shad
around for a while. Nothing. Moved out and fished a deeper point about half the way back and picked up some short fish on a spinnerbait. Crossed back to big bear and the water was once again 53 with more color. Missed a couple fish on a jig and bandit 300. I didn't get to fish big bear long so I plan on starting there in the morning. Just wish this lake would get stable so I can find some sort of pattern.
