You are lucky to find someone that will help like that....I mean from any company. Alot of employees seem to forget that a little decency goes a long way. Good to see someone doing it right.

On March 15 I was fishing for crappie/bluegill over on the Golf Course entry part of Jacobson Park when I noticed my reel handle was loose. I looked down and noticed that the locking nut had worked loose and had fallen off. I looked around on the ground for about five minutes without any luck. The following day I hit up Sportsman's Warehouse on the off-chance that they may carry parts. I struck out there!
On my return from the store I called Quantum's headquarters and spoke with a young lady named Tanya, told her my predicament and asked if she could help me remedy my situation. Not only did she promise me that she would mail out a new handle nut she also would do it free of charge. She told me it would take at least a week ..... the package arrived today.
It's such a refreshing change to come across customer support like this today. Kudos to Quantum/Zebco, I will continue to use this company for sure.

Shimmano did the same thing for me lost a spring while cleaning sent free of charge no questions asked.
similar issue with shimano. top notch reels but even better customer support on rare occassion needed.
I have been treated the same way by Okuma and by Pure Fishing for a cheapo Gander spinning reel that was no longer made. Wanted a spare spool for it, person I spoke with went way above and beyond finding a spool that would fit, then sent it for free! Other times they've sent me Abu parts for no charge when I've spoken to them. I agree, always about getting a good person, communicating nicely with them.
