Chatterbait

I was messing around with one in a tournament in GA on West Point Lake, rigged up a white/Gold Blade and put a fluke on it as a trailer. I was throwing it in a stumpfield in about 4 feet of water and caught several nice keepers and a 6.36# Kicker.....thats the only time I've ever had success on the chatterbait. It was the 1st week of April.

I like the fluke trailer as well. I also like a swimbait style trailer on a chatterbait. The Reaction Innovation Little Dipper or Skinny Dipper looks great when matched up on a chatterbait or swim jig.

Here's a question. So should I leave the skirt and add the fluke? Or should I reomve the skirt and fish the fluke on the jig???

you can fish it either way, i've done both. also like lake fork live magic shad and kalins grubs.

If you're going to take the skirt off you'd be almost just as well off fishing a scrounger head with a fluke on it
