Long wait for anticipation of final four today so headed to Nolin River. Made it about 5 miles above Broad Ford highway bridge water clear, shallow and very swift at times current was pushing us 2 mph. Temps were 48 to 53 from Bacon Creek ramp. Ripples were strong, had to pull boat through a couple. managed 9 nice fat white bass yet the large mouth bass were in abundance? No keeper lg mouth although some came close. Again lots of lg mouths. Just like last week I was getting disappointed when one would hit. Must be a banner year for Mr. bucket mouth. Very windy day made fishing rough at times would blow us back up river. No current at about a mile below Broad Ford and no white bass just an occasional lg.mouth. No walleyes today. Nice day and great way to kill time til the cats play. Go Big Blue!!
