2 dead below Kentucky Lake Dam

They did not go over the dam and the rescue crew was extremely quick. The man rescued did not hang have to hang onto a bouy.

Someone told me that they went OVER the dam.........is that true......also heard the guy who lived held onto a bouy for 1.5 hrs before rescue could get to him.

Anyone know any of the details.

Ray or William Herman used to fish the FOP tournaments. He was a first class guy. He will be missed.

Ray and I fished the Louisville FOP and other curcits for many years. We was known as Ray and RayRay. I am so thankful for the time I spent with him as partner and Friend. I have lost one of my best friends.Prayers to the Meyer Family,Andy and I was friends as well.

These men who died were very good friends of mine. Please keep their families in your thoughts and prayers. Accidents can happen so fast and change lives in a blink of an eye. Never take for granted what you have today!

Hi Skeeter,

My family and I were there that day on the river when those men passed away. my uncle was the one who notified the police and we helped in pulling there bodies out of the water. We tried everything we could to get them back but it was to late. Im so sorry for your loss and their families loss. I still think about these men everyday wondering what i could have done differntly to help them. Im so sorry for everyones loss that day. I just wish that we could of saved them. Im sorry
