I never watched a second but by the score my guess is nobody cut the bottom out of the bushel basket and they kept climbing the ladder to get the basketball out.

No most haven't Mark. Didn't you know, it is all about the team you want to win, if they don't it was their own fault and the other team had zero to do with it.

Let's take a look here....UK has an "off" shooting night against UConn and then Butler has an "off" shooting night against UConn. Anybody else seeing a pattern here?

I would say best defensive game I have seen in some time. Butler was scared to go inside because of Uconns intense defense. They had Butler on their heels all night. That takes alot of energy on Uconns behalf. Great Great Great game plan by Calhoun.

Let's take a look here....UK has an "off" shooting night against UConn and then Butler has an "off" shooting night against UConn. Anybody else seeing a pattern here?

Those wide open 15 footers from the free throw line that UK missed is ALL owed to the Defense that UCONN was playing. I could not believe the refs were letting the UCONN defenders jump up and down right in the players faces, mostly Jones, and wave their arms and such while the UK players were shooting free throws. I thought the rule was the both teams lined up to the left and right of the shooter off to the side but not in this game the refs actually let UCONN play defense against UK's free throw shooters. Not sure but I don't think this is legal, but considering UCONN's coach was still coaching this season even though he was found guilty of illegal activities but discipline was held off to next season, nothing suprises me anymore.
