barren river lake

how much rain did you all get i seen it is on the rise its at 552.79 thats over summer pool how much will it rise you think and is it muddy ???????????????

I live on the outside of Bowling Green just before the Allen Co Line. I can be at the **** in 15min. We had 1.5" here in my rain gauge. I noticed drakes creek was high and muddy on the way home from work. However the corps has been dropping the lake since the last flood. I dont beleive it will go more than 2-3' over summer pool if that. As far as muddy, I would suspect that the lake will be very fishable by the weekend.

Went by Browns Ford this afternoon and I have to say that I have seen it worse, but it was muddy. Water was almost in the turn around on the ramp. I expect it will come up another foot or two before starting back down.

Drakes was about 1 foot over the flat bridge at Kenny Perry Dr yesterday afternoon. Color was murky not muddy though. Good catfish color.

That doesn't help with Barren but thought I would offer up the info.

Fished Barren yesterday, skaggs creek was getting muddy at coons creek, turned around and went back toward Narrows and water was stained but not muddy. Temp 54-56. Crappie 10-20ft deep.
