Girls title game

Very enjoyable game to watch. I have watched more women's games this year than ever and I can truely say I really like their game. The skill set is getting better every year. It was also fun to watch the title without seeing UConn in it and the nine year senior M Moore...

Very good game to watch. Skylar Diggins is the next big thing in women's college basketball. Sophomore point guard for Notre Dame, dare I say it - From the state of Indiana, can flat out play with the looks of a model. My bet is she will be one of the if not the face of women's college basketball over the next couple of years especially since the 58 year old Maya Moore is finally graduating. Between Diggins and the 9 foot tall Brittany Griner for Baylor, they will be getting a whole lot of publicity over the next couple of seasons. Diggins is not only very pretty but she can flat out play.

Man Woodrow she is a pretty girl, I noticed that she is very attractive and has crazy good skills both offensively and defensively. The girls game has gotten much better and they have it all over the men from the charity stripe..

I expect the Lady Cards to make a serious Final Four run in the next couple of years. They bring most everyone back off this years sweet 16 team including freshman Shoni Schimmel. They also add a top five recruiting class led by Kentucky Miss Basketball and McDonald's All American Sara Hammond of Rockcastle County.

I didn't get to watch the game (Elkhorn Creek wore me out yesterday) but I was glad to see someone, anyone other than UConn win. The women's game is actually fun to watch. They are very good players and they are fundamentally sound.

Schimmel is gonna be special for sure. Cards women's program is really gaining strength.

Did you catch any fish yesterday?

My crappie trip fell through so I went and fooled around at Elkhorn Creek for a while. Since I am working on an article about it I decided I needed to get down there and fish (work). Caught somewhere between 6-8 in about 3 hours of fooling around. All in the slot limit, biggest around 15 inches. Every fish came fishing a Clouser Minnow fly below a strike indicator. It was similar rig to a FnF but using a fly rod.

I know the mens brackets were busted all to pieces but I wonder how many women's brackets were busted before the championship game. With UCONN, Tennessee, Stanford and Baylor being as dominate as they were this year and for not one of them making the championship game is pretty incredible. UCONN had beaten Notre Dame 3 times and Baylor had beaten Texas A&M 3 times this year until both teams turned the tables on them in the 4th matchup.

A college women's game will surprise you now and then. I went to bed at halftime thinking Notre Dame was going to run away with it in the second half. Didn't turn out that way.......
