What does abortion and family planning have to do with the economy? That is supposedly the number one sticking point on many trys for agreement.Thats political agenda, not econnomics. Who's essential, we all think the world wont run with out us, it will. There are many people who are dedicated faithfull public employees. But it must sure make them feel great to hbe non essential. Know whos non essential? lobbyists, radical idealists, reps and senators with hands out to special interests are non essential.

A non government solution to planned parent hood.Since this is mostly a moral and religious matter, a 5% contribution [taken from the collection plate]of every church in the counjtry. No abortion of any kind allowed. There that solved it!!! WHAT! take our money, no way. Then these same conservatives want to cut programs for childrens health. Why do you want them born, so that you can watch them struggle through life with poor health, bad education, and life on the street. Some thing is really screwed up here.

Why did it get to this? Wonder why the dems and the potus didn't approve a budget last year? Why in the world did they decide to not do their job?? Maybe it was because they knew the backlash would be fierce from the voters? So now they can blame the GOP for any cuts being made to programs.
This is the main problem I have with this administration (and dems in general)They make up or add gubment controlled programs that become so ingrained into our budget and it get folks dependent on our tax dollars to the point that cuts to any program hurts these folks.
They knew that so they planned this budget proposal until after the elections. Its another indication of how the political folks don't care about us. All they care about is power. Vote all of them out!!!!

If it's possible (and I'm sure it is), I'd like to have the name of each and every congress man and woman who occupies a seat on the hill TODAY as the clock keeps on ticking towards the shut down. Anyone got any idea how I figure this out?

I guess I feel like taking names...Granted, not each and every person in congress is a scumbag, but...if the government shuts down for any amount of time what so ever (and at 8:40 pm this evening it looks like that's exactly what's going to happen), while we have soldiers that are not going to be getting a paycheck for a while, then by gawd why in the hell ain't the congress people going to do without pay too? In my opinion if the folks in congress cash one single check during the shut down then they are indeed scumbags.

I want names! Not sure what good it's going to do me, but you have to start somewhere.

To be fair I realize the GOP have started gubment programs as well. I watched alot of news today on CNN and FOX and it was very disappointing to hear the game play by each side in trying to avoid the blame instead of dealing with the problem they caused.
On another note....just imagine what obamacare is gonna do to us if they don't figure a way to repeal this bs program.

Looks like they did it! They only put a bandaid on a gushing wound but it was a start. We are in for a war between these parties and unless they actually do whats right instead of what they have been doing we will not get a balanced budget again.
Looks like it could take 10-20 years to fix this crap.

Ohh and of course they are thinking of raising our cap on the Debt Ceiling. It has to do with how much we can borrow just to keep this country running. They are running the country by spending more than they are taking in. So oneday they will say sorry fellow americans we have to raise your taxes because YOU don't pay enough when if fact THEY spent too much!!! We are being led by total bafoons who have a disconnect with what the people want. When will we get a leader???

Nobama was quoted as saying; "This deal is the biggest annual spending cut in history!"

My thoughts on that are; "Hell yes it's the biggest spending cut in history...only because it's on the end of the trail of the most spending in history!"

Don't be trying to turn it around Nobama, don't be trying to make this bit of news sound all shiney and bright!

Hopefully they will do alot more soon but my thought is they just don't get it. The fact that Harry Reid was re-elected tells me that some folks just walk around with their head in the sand.
