how muddy

Any one know how muddy the water is @ rough? My youngest son (14) had hip surgury last week and promise him a fishing trip this week.

It was not very muddy on Sunday when I was there. Not sure now that we got some rain yesterday.

Just left there. The main lake looks great. Kinda a greenish color. Most of the creeks near panther are stained. The muddy water starts at big cliffty. Water temps started at 53 and rose to 57. My buddy and I caught 9, but only a couple were keepers. Wind blown points and channel banks worked for us. Good luck

I have a better idea of were to go now. We are going to try some crappie and bass fishing. He caught his biggest bass there last year it was a 17" fish , I gave him the choice to keep it or release the fish and he said dad let's let him grow up some more and let the fish go. I said good choice! It kind of brought a tear to my eye to know he was listening to dad all this time.
