Nancy Pelosi 2012 with GEO as vp. sorry George you hadn't waded in here yet and I simply couldn't resist the chance...
My first order of business would be to drown her in a mud puddle.............
AND then I'd get down to business of turning the entire middle east into glass. BUT not too deep......we still need the oil.........
Later,
Geo.........
Quotes from Trump as printed in Friday mornings Courier-Journal:
"I'd like to beat him straight up and not on the basis of the question of where Obama was born". (According to Trump he's looked into this citizenship issue and now believes Nobama may have violated the constitution). "I'd like to have him show his birth certificate, and to be honest with you I hope he can".
(In regards to the possibility of running for President) - "I always take things seriously, but I've never taken it seriously like this. I wish I didn't have to do it. I wish this was the greatest place in the world. But the U.S. is losing respect in the world at a time when jobs at home are vanishing".

Yes you did, and my point was that if you wanted a businessman, Trump would be a terrible choice.
My choice, so far for the GOP, is none of the above. Trump can't win and frankly it's an embarrassment to me as a Republican he is even being considered. Palin and Gingrich have too much baggage. Romney is stale, has the Massachusetts health care debacle hung around his neck, and reminds me of the class valedictorian no one liked. Pawlenty intrigues me but I haven't been impressed with his public appearances so far.
Marco Rubio from Florida or Chris Christie from NJ are both telegenic, have experience and a good track record and could handle the spotlight. Unfortunately I don't think either will run. Looks like the GOP may be blowing its chance to capitalize on Obama's vulnerability.
I'm sorry, OB would never been elected had the reps chosen someone other than an old man bordering on senility. Romney had the credentials, the experience, his draw back, many fundenentals dont consider momanism a christian religion. Why? I wonder if some of them have completely lost their minds, first a black clown, who did raise tons of money, now a guy with a name that will be easier to remember as Reeces Feceses.
Man your looking at the upcoming election without considerations for what just happened in the last election. Anyone who is likable can get elected. Obamy wasn't voted in based on experience, he was voted in based on a Hollywood campaign and being black. Anything is possible and the present fool on the hill is proof of that.
He told everyone what they wanted to hear and it worked, he gave grand speeches had Hollywood style was a media darling and most importantly was approved by Oprah!! I hope the American people have learned that we should pick a leader and not a orator.
No, actually he won because the country had been taken into the crapper and McCain just pomised to stay the course and keep us there. Give a choice between staying in the crapper and trying something different, more people chose the latter.
I agree. We need to take a serious look at some of the garbage that tries to pass itself off as leaders. Seriously, do we really need a reality star to run for president? If so, we have some serious issues. Personally, I would like to see a "none of the above" selection on the ballet. Rather than pull the lever for someone, not because you really want them, but because you dislike them worse than the other clowns, you could let them all know they aren't worth a crap. If none of the above wins, election is a do over and none of the jokers who ran the first time can run again. That would shake them up some. Might actually get someone who was worth a **** to vote for.
Andrew
Andrew your question about needing a reality star would have surprised me years ago but now that the majority voted in a man like Obama nothing surprises me. Oh well it's gonna be very interesting.
Last election did teach us that anyone can be elected president. I really don't see how it could get any worse than Obama, but I guess I could be wrong...which I hope I'm not. Hopefully we learned a lesson, as a nation, from electing Obama, given what he has done in the White House and where our nation is today. I just hope that we actually choose a conservative Rep. presidential nominee this year, that is electable. McCain stood no chance in 2008, even with Palin thrown on the ticket. Romney was definitely the best choice, but there is to much of a stigmatism stuck with Mormonism (which I don't understand?). I think Huckabee really destroyed Romney's chances with the evangelical pull he had.
Anyways, I can't say that Trump couldn't win, because anything is possible (point and case...Obama). I just hope that we pick our candidate closely this time around so we can end this mess in Washington.

I don't think Romney's problem was religion at all. More likely his anti-gun stances and Romneycare. I'd even go as far to claim he's a closet liberal.
Trump? I don't trust him. He donated $50,000 to Rahm Emmanual?'s campaign, and i know some will say it's smart business but a sellout is the last thing we need as CIC.
Right now i'd be satisfied to have Hillary as POTUS.
