I like the new rule regarding Dogwood Lake, but if they really took the bouy markers out, that's just insane. Even with the markers, it was a real challenge to navigate without hitting a stump. I can't imagine the thinking on removing these markers in that area.

I'd like to see the state open up waters that are 100 acres or more, to a 9.9 motor. Anything less than 100 acres I can certainly understand keeping it as a trolling motor only lake. Try fishing Celina Lake in the Hoosier National Forest with a trolling motor, it takes forever to get around the lake and your battery is usually drained before you're ready to leave.

Lakes in Southern Indiana like Indian, Celina, Tipsaw, John Hay, Deam, Tuckers etc, are prime candidates for this such change. There's hundreds more throughout the state too. It would make for a better fishing trip, allowing the angler more time actually fishing than being in transit.
