Raptor do you like to fish out of a kayak or canoe? Just curious as to what type of boat you use in the Hoosier National Forest.

I know a guy down here that fishing from the bank while wading and he is not really happy with the gas engines being allowed on Bluegrass's pits. He told me that the oil contamintes his waders. .

But he is wading in the water right next to the launch ramp for gods sake.

The only real reason I need the gas motor is when the winds are up and I can't make any headway with my boat's trolling motor against a 20 mph head wind. And when I have to put the boat back on the boat trailer it's nice to have the gas engine to drive the boat up onto the trailer.

I fished Bluegrass when it was electric trolling motors only and there were not nearly the amount of boats on those lakes as there are today. It was a lot quieter back in those days too.

I stil prefer to have them allow the use of gas engines as long as there is a no wake speed limit or idle speed only speed limit on the water.
