    nice walleye

    never caught a keeper bass AGAIN today, but i did score this walleye about 30 minutes before we about died in a wind/hail/rain/lightning storm.

    Robert, how long they been in Patoka now? Amazing they're getting that big so fast.

    This is either the third or forth year. Some of the original stock included fingerlings.
    I have caught a few but none like that one. Way to go Embrey.

    yeah, im pretty sure this is from way back, not the recent stock.correct me if im wrong.

    It was a nice one, got to hold it myself after the weigh in. Yeah Embrey it was a wonderful storm we fished in that day. Me and Bill were soaked even while trying to stay under the bridge.

    They will eat the Gizzard Shad too. And that's a good thing. The Gizzard Shad make up a huge part of the biomass in Patoka Lake. Reduce the number of gizzard shad and the bluegills will grow larger.
