We went yesterday and did pretty good. We caught 8 good keeper crappie and a lot of small ones. Also caught some catfish and drum. It was a real good day. The water is warming up. We caught most of them in between 2-6 feet of water. It was showing in the low to mid 60’s. I’m heading to Ky Lake Wednesday so I’m hoping they will be biting real good down there.

Thanks Spanky for the report. Hoping to go sometimes this week. Just got back from KY Lake from 3 days of fighting the wind. Sunday was the only day with any keepers. Had 15 in 4 hours on roadrunners in 4- 8 ft near points. All were whites but one. 3 females in the bunch. Good luck this week.

Most of the ones we were catching were black males.
