Stay as far from the nest as you can to get a lure in the nest. Prevent your shadow from shading the nest. Try to flip lure as easy as possible into as close to center of nest as you can. Shake lure in place or very short hop to entice bass. Bass is not trying to eat your lure but just move it out of the nest. As soon as he or she picks it up and moves {set the hook}. White jig is my favorite lure to use and easy to see when fish picks it up. If missing fish put a small treble hook on jig as a stinger. Bedding bass are hard to catch sometimes even if you can see them. It might take 30 minutes on one fish. But dont spend that long unless its a hog. Hope this helps you some. Good luck,jc
